If you answered yes to any of these questions, you should check out
the TCSD Swim Practices at the JCC practice. What do you have to lose?
The first one is free! (oh, and there is a HOT TUB for a post workout
soak)
We meet every Monday and Wednesday night from 7:30-8:45. Our group
ranges from ex-college swimmers to beginners. We split the practice
into 2 groups- technique and masters. The technique group works on
form, body mechanics, body positioning, stroke, breathing, and
technique. This group is geared for beginner AND veteran swimmers who
want to work on efficiency. The masters group is a typical masters
swim workout- warm up, kick or pull set, main set, and cool down.
Total mileage for a workout ranges from 1000-3000. This group focuses
on speed, endurance, and building mileage.
Important: Enter through the back gate to the pool. Purchse your swim
passes at the round tables on the west side of the pool (next to the
hot tub). Don't forget to sign in!

DIRECTIONS: From Highway 5 Exit La Jolla Village Drive and proceed
east. Turn left (north) on Regents Road. Turn right on Eastgate
Mall. The parking lot is on Eastgate Mall between the park and police
station.
From Highway 805 Exit La Jolla Village Drive/Mirimar Road and proceed
west. Turn right (north) on Regents Road. Turn right on Eastgate
Mall. The parking lot is on Eastgate Mall between the park and police
station.
